How do I change the language on a Lowrance device?

Compatible devices have regional language packs. Send the Request Code, model, software version and language needed; after compatibility is confirmed, a personal activation key is prepared.

Which languages can be unlocked?

Packages include Eastern European, Asian, Middle European and Middle Eastern languages. English US and English UK are included in every listed package.

Does GeoFence unlock include a language package?

On compatible devices, GeoFence removal may make the Standard package available. A separate package key is needed only when the required language is not included there.

Order process

Request Code → activation key

No generic key is sold. Each request is checked against the supplied device details before payment.

Find Request Code

Open the GeoFence or language-unlock dialog on the chartplotter.

Send device details

Send model, software version, Request Code and required language.

Receive activation key

Enter the prepared key on the device and select the unlocked language.

Where to find the Request Code

Settings → System → Advanced → User interface → enable “Show GeoFence unlock dialog”. Then open Settings → System → Disable GeoFence → Request Code.
