Why can I not change feet to meters?

A units problem is not always GeoFence
First open the normal units settings and check whether depth, distance, speed and temperature can be changed independently. A saved profile or an imported configuration can also retain imperial values.
On some compatible US/Canada-market devices, regional restrictions may prevent normal metric choices outside the original market. That possibility must be confirmed from the model and software, not guessed from feet alone.

Different services

Changing measurement units does not install another interface language. A Regional Language Pack requires a compatible package and personal key. Russian-language installation follows a separate remote workflow.
